UK media claims to obtain IS registration forms of 22,000 Jihadis

Mohsin Soomro LONDON: Britain’s news channel ‘Sky News’ Wednesday has claimed to obtain the details of the Islamic State militants. In a report, Sky News said that as many as 22,000 IS jihadists names, addresses, numbers and family contacts of IS militants have been obtained which shows a huge figure of nationals from atleast 51 countries, including UK, had joined the organization. “The documents reveal the identities of a number of previously unknown jihadists in the UK, across northern Europe, much of the Middle East and North Africa, as well as in the United States and Canada,” according to the report. A senior reporter from the Sky News, on conditions of anonymity, told us that many contact numbers are still active but there is nobody to talk. It shows that the families of the people-converted-jihadists had, possibly, left their homes for security reasons. Sky News said the files were passed to it on a memory stick stolen from the head of IS internal security police.
